On 10-12 June, more than 40 representatives of the ACCSESS consortium convened in Zürich, Switzerland for the project’s sixth technical meeting. The meeting was hosted by ETH Zürich, and featured over 25 presentations from industry, academia, research institutes and technology suppliers, involved in work across the entire project. Despite this packed agenda, there was still plenty of opportunity for discussions.
In addition to the meeting, ETH Zürich took participants on a CCS safari, which was a unique opportunity to gain insight into some of the key innovators in CCS and carbon management technology that have emerged from Zürich’s R&D and innovation environment. This included fellow ACCSESS partner Neustark, who have built a pilot plant for demonstrating alkaline industrial waste recarbonation as part of the project, and UniSieve.
