ACCSESS Project Coordinator Kristin Jordal from SINTEF Energy Research, as well as Markus Sebastian Hole from ACCSESS partner Hafslund Oslo Celsio, will participate in a panel debate at Arendalsuka this year.
Arendalsuka (lit. “Arendal’s week”) is a Norwegian political festival that takes place in August every year, in Arendal.
The panel discussion, entitled “Negative ambisjoner – slik må vi fjerne CO₂ for å nå netto null” (“Negative ambitions – this is how we need to remove CO₂ in order to achieve net zero”) focuses on the measures and technologies Norway should focus on in order to be able to develop cost-effective solutions for the removal of historical CO₂ emissions.
The event will be held in-person at the Thon hotel in Arendal and be streamed online on YouTube. You can find more information on the official event page.
(NB! As Arendalsuka is a Norwegian festival, all events will be in Norwegian. This event will have a Norwegian sign language interpreter.)
